What drinks can I make with Vertuo Up?
You can make espresso, double espresso and larger coffees using the appropriate Vertuo capsules. You can also prepare iced recipes or add separately prepared milk for drinks such as lattes and cappuccinos.
Does it use Original Nespresso capsules?
No. Vertuo Up uses Nespresso Vertuo capsules. Original capsules have a different shape and brewing system and are not compatible.
Can I make iced coffee?
Yes. Use a suitable Vertuo coffee and follow its iced recipe, adding the recommended amount of ice to your glass. The machine does not make ice; add it separately.
Does Vertuo Up froth milk?
The machine itself does not froth milk. Use a separate milk frother, such as an Aeroccino, for lattes and cappuccinos. Some bundles include a frother; check the contents of your selected package.
Can I use my own ground coffee?
Vertuo Up is designed for Vertuo capsules, not loose ground coffee. Do not put ground coffee directly into the capsule compartment or water tank.
How should I clean the machine?
Empty and clean the used-capsule container and drip tray regularly, rinse the water tank, and wipe the exterior with a soft damp cloth. Follow the Vertuo Up manual for the cleaning cycle and descale when prompted, using the recommended descaling solution.
