The coffee maker works well (only 2 sizes of coffee). I prefer espresso size vs lungo. The unit is very compact and should be able to fit almost anywhere. […] My only negative is that unit says it comes with 14 pod samples on box but there were only 7 pods in bix.

A little guidance for your everyday coffee routine.
What coffee sizes can I make?
The default settings are Espresso (40 ml) and Lungo (110 ml). Brewing stops automatically.
How quickly does it heat up?
Warm-up takes approximately 25 seconds. The button lights stop blinking when the machine is ready.
Can I change the amount of coffee in my cup?
Yes. Hold the Espresso or Lungo button while brewing, then release it at your preferred volume. The machine saves that setting.
How much water does the tank hold?
The removable water tank holds 0.6 litres. Fill it with fresh drinking water.
Does the machine switch off automatically?
Yes. The default automatic shut-off is 9 minutes. You can change this to 30 minutes using the energy-saving settings.
How do I clean it?
Empty and clean the drip tray and used-capsule container daily. Clean removable parts as directed in the manual and wipe the coffee outlet with a damp cloth.
Does the Essenza Mini need descaling?
Yes. Follow the model's descaling instructions and use Nespresso descaling solution. The process takes approximately 15 minutes.
Why is my coffee flowing slowly?
Flow varies with the coffee variety. Descaling may help if needed; contact Nespresso support if the problem continues.
